Animal activist Tippi Hedren has called on fans of Michael Jackson to donate to charity in his name.
Hedren adopted Jackson’s own two tigers Thriller and Sabu in 2005, after the singer had to close his private zoo at Neverland under financial pressure. They have lived ever since at her Roar Foundation sanctuary, the Los Angeles Shambala Preserve, with 66 other tigers, lions and big cats who were once employed in the entertainment industry, or became unwanted pets.
According to Tippi, Michael Jackson was not only loved by the people of the world for his incomparable talent but was also loved by the wild animals. At the Neverland Ranch, she added, Jackson provided the most beautiful home for those magnificent wild creatures.
