Bruce TailThousands of people around the world are deeply touched and moved by Bruce, a typical Staffie BT, that in most any other part of the world would be left to live the good life, in his loving home. Instead he has been held captive for over 2 years in a North Ireland shelter; once healthy and vibrant- now skinny with infections, an amputation and on death row. Bruce has been condemned to die by the law for no other reason than the way he looks which has caused concern and distress of dog lovers around the world.

The situation has brought shame to the citizens of the United Kingdom for the continued use of breed specific legislation which has taken the lives of innocent dogs since 1991.

Bruce’s life hangs in the balance by a thread as international public outcry moves in unison in a legal fight to bring him home.  The story has caught the attention of mainstream media worldwide. There is even talk that representatives for Bruce may be seeking the support of the UN for charges of criminal animal cruelty against N. Ireland. A court hearing is set to take place on 14th September.
